Ariete is the star child of Ariete Hospitality Group. The namesake restaurant was opened in 2016 by Miami native Chef Michael Beltrán, and has gone on to win a Michelin Star in 2022 and 2023.
For a Michelin Star quality restaurant, photography and branding needed to be equally as clean. Design elements and photoshoots were kept simple to let the ingredients, food, and Chefs shine through.
Chug's Cuban Diner is the opposite of Ariete. Cozy, family (and dog) friendly, and welcoming to all, in just a few years since opening Chug’s became a favorite brunch spot of the Coconut Grove community. As a Cuban-American diner the concept is right at home in Miami, serving Cuban coffee and handmade pastelitos alongside the most delicious Cast-Iron pancake and breakfast sandwiches. Branding leans into the retro diner feeling, with warm colors and vintage iconography that also sets the mood for dreamy photography. The marketing strategy of Chug’s is always community oriented, celebrating all the love that goes into the restaurant from chefs to the staff to the guests.
The Gibson Room is a spot on Coral Way that I had the pleasure of opening with AHG in the Summer of 2022. Focused on live jazz music, simply crafted cocktails, and a unique ever changing dinner menu, visuals for this elevated neighborhood hang out had to be dark and swanky yet still approachable. The small space is surprisingly dynamic, with a huge bar and specially built stage that really come alive in the night time.
